Antique Taco is nestled in the heart of Chicago's Wicker Park neighborhood. A trip here means leaving with a belly full of delicious gourmet tacos made with local ingredients. The design of the restaurant revolves around the owners love for antiques and collecting vintage goods. Yep, it's all about tacos and old stuff. FoundRe used a ton of salvage lumber and architectural elements to build out the space and capture an authentic nod to all things antique.
Guest Room is located in Chicago's never sleeping Wicker Park bar district. We created six 10 foot dinning tables to accommodate a crowd of 60 plus. Each table collapses allowing the legs to fold in for easy storage when more floor space is necessary. We also crated a rolling bar to allow for space diversity, and a beautiful reclaimed wood feature wall with recycled pallet cladding.
Our long time client Jen Fite's colorful home is located in Chicago's vibrant Logan Square neighborhood. The furniture and built-in pieces featured in this home project were created using reclaimed wood and recycled architectural salvage. The client has a taste for bright colors and textures, so we went in a eclectic direction to highlight her personal style. Many pieces were created using broken down elements from old doors and window frames. In this case the brighter the better and we went as textured and funky as possible.
FoundRe's humble home is located in Chicago's Logan Square neighborhood. Like many craftsman, our personal projects usually take a backseat to running a business, but after finding some time over the past few years, we're excited to share our abodes updates. We've worked hard to achieve a balance between reclaimed wood, urban design and vintage decor. Welcome to our home.
Phlearn is located in the heart of Chicago's west Fulton Market art corridor. Designed to be half event space and half photography studio. We built out a nice bar area using reclaimed douglas fir and salvaged bead board. The main room boasts a 20 foot long seating/storage area and media cabinet. The is also a eye catching redwood beam island running into the stair case and actually becoming one of the steps from the other side.
We found this little gem on the North side of Chicago. She had been stripped down to bare bones and was ready for a face lift. After a few test runs, camping in the U.P. and sleeping on the plywood floor were ready to get started with the remodel. We think it turned out pretty good!
We make, tables, desks, cabinets, bookshelves—and anything in between. We can build you a bar, a checkout counter, displays, or reclaimed wood wall paneling—anything you can dream up, we can design, build and install. If you are interested in commercial or interior work, let us know.
